14th meeting of the Ethnographic Filmmaking LAB!

With Alice Roffinengo, we discussed the structure of teasers. The images collected to date are analysed, discussed and selected with the editor.

Alice Roffinengo works across documentaries, fiction films, TV series and arthouse short films. She works with directors such as Giuseppe Piccioni, Fabiana Sargentini, Laura Muscardin and young directors of her generation such as Adriano Valerio, Francesco Lagi, Leonardo Guerra Seragnoli, Chiara Campara, Gianni Troilo, Luca Scivoletto and Parsifal Reparato.
She collaborates with major companies such as Fandango Cinema, Rai Cinema, Bianca Film and Sky.
Her work stands out for its technical and organisational skills in productions with complex and diverse workflows. She participates in various Italian and international film festivals such as the Venice International Film Festival, the Rome Film Festival, the Locarno Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. A common thread running through all his work is his enormous human sensitivity, his love for the environments and sounds of nature, and the rhythm of the editing, which follows the narrative and inner lives of the characters.
