SHE: trailer released
The trailer for SHE is now available. The new documentary directed by Parsifal Reparato will have its world premiere on August 9 at the Semaine de la Critique of the Locarno Film Festival.
Born from years of field research and conceived as a collective work that merges anthropology and cinema, SHE tells the stories and lives of female workers in Vietnam’s electronics industry. It amplifies the voices of a generation of women working under the relentless pressure of global production chains.
Produced by AntropicA, PFA Films, Les Films de l’oeil sauvage and Cinecittà, with the participation of France Télévisions, the film is represented internationally by CAT&Docs. Support comes from CNC, the Italian Ministry of Culture, Région Île-de-France, Procirep-Angoa, Sunny Side of the Doc, Movies that Matter, Premio Solinas, FIFDH Genève and many others.
“SHE is a film from the working class and for the working class. It is the outcome of a collective process that puts dignity and resistance at the center, with a radical and poetic approach,” says director Parsifal Reparato.
The world premiere of SHE will take place on Friday, August 9 at 11:00 am at La Sala in Locarno, with an additional screening on August 10 at 9:00 am at Palacinema 1.
