SHE Wins the Audience Award at the 50th Laceno d’Oro
SHE returns from Laceno d’Oro with a precious gift: the Audience Award, chosen by the audience who knows how to listen the most.
Thank you for turning Parsifal Reparato’s film into a small collective ritual.
The public jury shared this statement:
“With this film, Parsifal Reparato tears through the veil of illusion behind the label ‘Made in Vietnam’.
The film brings together contrasting images that are nonetheless inseparably connected: rural villages give way to the alienation of the cities, portraying a society driven by young women. SHE is a choral and community voice: each protagonist is different, yet they embody the same destiny. The cinematography is outstanding, and the transition between documentary storytelling and fiction is almost imperceptible.”
Receiving an award from the audience is a special emotion: it means the story has found a living dialogue with those who watched it.
A heartfelt thank you to all viewers, to the festival, and to everyone who made this film possible.
This recognition encourages us to keep telling what too often remains invisible.
