Building a collective memory with archives – Meeting with AAMOD
In the third week of the workshop “Ethnographic Filmmaking – Training and Memory” – II edition, trainer Luca Ricciardi shared with the working group the practices and methodologies cultivated by the Audiovisual Archive of the Workers’ and Democratic Movement (AAMOD).
We discussed research, preservation and reuse of audiovisual archives with the aim of promoting historical and topical documents: activities aimed at building a collective memory by means of materials to be rediscovered or elaborated.
AAMOD’s archives, which is our project partner, are another creative tool that the team will have the opportunity to use during the process of realization of their ideas.
