The world premiere red carpet of SHE at the Semaine de la Critique of the Locarno Film Festival was, for us, a small but heartfelt tribute to Palestinian resistance.

Vietnam’s long and victorious struggle remains a guiding light against oppression. From the factories of foreign multinationals in Vietnam to the genocide in Gaza, the same continuum emerges: the exploitation of land, resources, and dehumanized bodies.

Our presence on the carpet was meant to affirm that cinema is also a political act and a gesture of solidarity.
