“SHE” AT IMAGES MOUVEMENTÉES FESTIVAL

SHE, the documentary directed by Parsifal Reparato and produced by Antropica, has been selected for the 24th edition of Images Mouvementées, a film festival organized in Paris by Attac France – Association pour la taxation des transactions financières et pour l’action citoyenne.

Founded in 2003, Images Mouvementées uses cinema as a tool for information, dialogue and collective reflection on some of the major social, economic and political issues of our time.

Attac France is part of an international movement committed to fiscal, social and environmental justice and to developing alternatives to the mechanisms of financial globalization.

The screening of SHE will take place on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00 PM at Cinéma Les 5 Caumartin in Paris.

The screening will be followed by the debate “Désarmons les multinationales” – “Disarming Multinational Corporations”, focusing on the role and power of large corporations in the global economy.

The discussion will feature Amina Hassani, researcher in international economic law; Olivier Petitjean, journalist and coordinator of the Observatoire des multinationales, an investigative media outlet focused on large corporations; and Thomas Coutrot, economist and statistician.

The presence of SHE at Images Mouvementées represents a particularly meaningful opportunity to continue the discussion around the themes at the heart of the documentary: women’s labour, global electronics supply chains, workers’ conditions, and the relationship between industrial production, rights and corporate responsibility.
