Next stop: Modena. SHE by Parsifal Reparato will be presented on Thursday, November 13 at 9:30 pm at Cinema Astra in Modena, as a preview screening within Modena ViaEmiliaDocFest, during a day dedicated to cinema exploring the transformations of contemporary labour.

After the screening, director Parsifal Reparato will be in conversation with Roberto Roversi, artistic director and president of UCCA, and Giulia Piscitelli, part of the Short on Work working group.

The following day, Friday, November 14 at 11:00 am, the director will join the conversation “Labour Reloaded. Stories of Contemporary Work” at Fondazione Marco Biagi, together with Carlotta Barra (Marco Biagi Department of Economics – UniMoRe) and Matteo Rinaldini (Department of Communication and Economics – UniMoRe).

SHE gives voice to the bodies and experiences of women workers in Vietnam’s vast electronics industrial park, where 80% of the workforce are women working 12-hour shifts. A choral narrative that reveals the strength and resilience behind invisible labour.
