SHE on Rai 3: Italian Television Premiere

After its journey through major international festivals, from the Semaine de la Critique at the Locarno Film Festival to the shortlist for the Nastri d’Argento, the documentary SHE, directed by Parsifal Reparato, will have its Italian television premiere on Rai 3.

Rai is Italy’s national public broadcaster, and Rai 3 is one of its main television channels, known for its attention to culture, documentary cinema, social issues, and contemporary political debate. The broadcast marks an important step in the Italian life of the film, bringing SHE to a wider national audience.

The film explores the electronics industrial hub of Bac Ninh, in Vietnam, a production area involving around 100,000 workers, most of them women. Through a collective narrative, SHE brings to light the working conditions within global electronics supply chains, questioning the relationship between time, bodies, rights, and exploitation.

Built through a cinematic approach designed to protect the anonymity of its protagonists, the film gives voice to the women workers and makes visible what too often remains outside public attention: the human, social, and political consequences of contemporary production.

The Rai 3 broadcast represents a significant moment in the film’s Italian journey, continuing the international dialogue that SHE has opened around labor rights and the invisible structures of global work.
