“RUKELI” AT SATURNIA FILM FESTIVAL 2026
The animated short film RUKELI, directed by Alessandro Rak, will be presented at the ninth edition of the Saturnia Film Festival, taking place from July 30 to August 2, 2026, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.
The screening of RUKELI will take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 9:00 PM at Terme di Saturnia Natural Destination – Parco Piscine, as part of the international competition dedicated to animated short films.
The participation in the Saturnia Film Festival marks another important stage in the film’s festival journey, as it continues to meet audiences through Italian and international festivals, confirming the interest the work has generated within the field of auteur animation.
Every summer, the Saturnia Film Festival brings cinema to the squares and most evocative locations of the Maremma, creating opportunities for encounter, viewing and dialogue under the stars. In this context, the screening of RUKELI represents a new moment of sharing with the audience, in a setting that is particularly meaningful for the dialogue between cinema, territory and community.
We are happy to accompany RUKELI on this new stage of its journey and thank the Saturnia Film Festival for the invitation and for including the film in its program.
