Rukeli by Alessandro Rak will have its world premiere at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, La Biennale di Venezia, in the Orizzonti Corti Out of Competition section. The screening will take place on Thursday, September 4 at 5:00 pm at Sala Giardino.
Rukeli is a collective work produced on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Italy and Europe from Nazism and Fascism. The film was created to keep antifascist and antinazi memory alive, which today finds expression in action against antigypsyism and in the antizionist struggle of the Palestinian people.
Memory is a living matter, so that what happened will never happen again to anyone.
